Kula gone…
Finally I can tell you.
Kula was always ‘special’; she was nervous and kinda skittish. She didnt like too many people, other than her sister and me.
Its always been me, Kela, me, and Kula. When
we came to TX, we came to a 5 member household; we made 8. Three of those were 3 loud and wild years old. White noise and constant tornados in the house was very new.

Kula went outside (for a moment of peace) and just never came back in. I remember the last time I saw her; as she was going through the hole in the fence she turned and looked at me with those beautiful eyes…
In my heart I dont think she’s “gone”. I’d like to think she just found a calmer, quieter place to be…
Kela still misses her; every now and then we both think we hear her. Sometimes I expect her to come thru the door. Kela checks the closets every now and then…
We will always love and miss you, baby gurl…
