90 girls preggers at one high school. Aint that a bytch?
Frayser H.S., in Memphis TN, has the highest teen pregnancy rate in TN. Shyt- in America! 90 girls are either pregnant now or had a baby in the last year.
The new campaign, called “No Baby!” is designed to try to get teen girls and boys to prevent pregnancies; at the same time, Memphis City School officials are working on a way to help students more effectively deal with unplanned pregnancies.
“When we would come back from summer break, there would be a thousand people pregnant. We were like, what’s going on?” joked Alicia Williamson, who graduated from Frayser in 2004.
They have an organization called Girls, Inc., that teaches girls about how to not get pregnant. The teenage girls “care for” computerized babies to give them a feel for what teenage parenthood is like. Once they get a taste of that hollarin’ and screamin’ baby that seems to always be hungry and wet, they should change their minds. At least that’s the idea.
The national rate stands between 15 and 26 % now.
Frayser’s rate is the 26%.
“When we would come back from summer break, there would be a thousand people pregnant. We were like, what’s going on?” “There were a lot of bellies. You had to watch out so you didn’t bump into them. Being 2011, I thought a lot of them would have thought this is not the right way to go, having babies during school time.”
So where are these girls mommas at? Why isn’t someone talkin’ to them a birth control and triflin’ ass Baby Daddys? The word, “No”. That they need to get their education and know somethin’ to make a dollar or two and take care of themselves before they can take care of someone else?
This must be a small ass, hole-in-the-wall town. There must not be anything else to do but do the nasty… But there is no excuse for goin’ raw in these days and times. There’s all sorts of creepy shyt you can get. And then there is the baby thing. Seems to me that people should have the presence of mind not to bring children into the world, and not know how they’re gonna take care of them, or fail to do so.
Some say that society failed them. They are economically disadvantaged. They had bad upbringings. NONE of this is the reason to lay around, poppin’ out babies. There is way too much info out there about birth control and how to avoid unwanted pregnancies. And can they see that the BD will quickly remove his ass from the situation scared to death), so she will be like the many teenage mothers-pushin’ that stroller all by herself.
There’s a lack of communication between the parents and their children. And there are younger parents these days too; Babies havin’ babies. They didn’t know wtf to do, so how are they gonna teach their children anything?
