Chidi Ogbuta was renewin’ her weddin’ vows celebratin’ her 10th anniversay since jumpin’ the broom, and decided to indulge a childhood fantasy. She always wanted a life-size Chidi Doll.
So she ordered a life size replica of herself as the cake. The butter-cream “Chidi Doll” was (she ate up or in the deep freeze now!) had 24mm glass eyes, was 5-ft tall, six layers, weighed 400lbs and contained 200 eggs and 7.5litres of amaretto. She was made by a company called Absolutely Edible Cakes in Rowlett, Tx- the owner/bakery/friend is on the landin’ page posin’ with Chidi Doll. And they originally wanted two life-size cakes- one of the groom too! I wonder how much that bad boy cost?
