Weezy Goin’ to Jail? Say it Ain’t So!

 

 Weezy F. Baby pleaded guilty to gun charges  and will serve ONE WHOLE YEAR in jail!     

Awwww Dayumm!  

“Tha Carter” agreed to a plea deal with prosecutors, and will be sentenced at New York State Supreme Court in February 2010.  

In July 2007 after a “traffic stop”,  a gun was found on his tour bus.    Ja Rule was arrested separately for a similar charge, after the two performed in a concert in New York.  Ja says he’s innocent-no trial date set as of yet.  (And where the flick is dude these days?)

He did good just pleadin’ out, and gettin’ it over with.  He was lookin’ at  more serious gun possession charges if the case had gone to trial, AND a  maximum 15-year prison sentence.   Weezy can’t do 15.   Besides, once they found his DNA on the piece, and deemed it admissible, the deck was stacked.  He did the best thing.  The trial would have been a circus anyway…

Now his manager is lookin’ a lil stupid, since he, on a VH1 special before the trial, said the 40 cal was his.

‘Sides - looks like he might be tryin’ to take some responsibility for his actions for a change.  He’s got kids (lots of ‘em- he had 3 babes pregnant this year, not to mention the one he already had!) and will have to be mature at some point in his life; start settin’ some positive examples for these children he brought here.      Its time; he’s also facin’ felony drug possession and SOME MORE weapons charges outta Arizona in 2008, during a ‘routine stop’ at a Border Patrol checkpoint.   That trial begins in March 2010.

I just dont know what I’ma do without Lil Wayne for a whole year…!

I hope Baby can work somethin’ out…
