Customer Service Week CSC – Style! (::audio::)

2009 October 11

My 1st (daytime job) celebrates Customer Service Week each year.  I must say, that in the 10-15 years working in Customer Service, this company really takes it to heart.

Highlights of the festivities are limitless.  Seems like everyday – just like last year- they fed you, thoughtfully; not some random stuff no one wants or needs (weight issues?) but stuff you want to eat.    A different vendor/snack each day.   That says alot in these things…

They gave us nice, useable things, like water bottles, and message boards…

They had lots of games and activities; a cake walk and an egg toss.  On the egg toss:  a young lady asked me if I wanted to participate and  I promptly told her “No”.   This was not out of any anal-minded, madness that seems to grip people these days.  I was really was savin’ my employer a lot of grief and paper towels.  I can’t see that lil egg, and they throwin’ it from across the room?   I never went out for catchin’ games in school…

Anynewayz.’..

The theme was The Big Apple, and streets and areas within.  Let me first say KU-KU-KUDOS to all the folks that put in work, and folkz they put work!  The displays were exquisite; accurate in details, aritistic- you could tell alot of effort and lot of folks passion went into this presentation.

The Credits:
Chris W.- an exceptional “ar-teest”, who is simply awesome.  the world is definelty waitin’ for him, and he will arrive!  His presence was felt throughout…

Krista B.- I dont know if she was a co-ordinator or what, but she helped me immensly (MY FLIC didnt ome out.  go figger.)  I never could have did the things she did to that cube witout her.  Danielle deserves a bow as well.

Dana Paul-  I dont know this young lady.   I spoke with her on one or two occassions about another artist, Daniel Merriam,  but she has an acceptional, slow-hand, freeform talent of her own  that deserves honorable mention.   I experience a few ‘corrupt files. and her’s was on of them.   She did The Apple Store.  For shame.

All in all, I was impressed.
This doesn’t happen often.

And I had a great time!~*
