Restraining Order= 85 cents

 …      I just read a news story out of Seattle WA., where a young Univ-WA reseacher was shot in her office last week by her ex who then turned the gun on himself… View story here.

She was just “granted” a restraining order last month against this person. This is the reason for my rant today: WHAT THE FLUCK IS A RESTRAINING ORDER WORTH THESE DAYS?

“I cannot find him but he can find me (knows my place of work)” ,” He’s a pycho from my past”, she wrote in the petition on March 6th.  Yet he made it into her place of employment and got off six bullets,  before he put one in his own head.   Restraining what?

No -what the police were supposed to do was find this mofo, serve him with that order, and then watch his ass as much as they could or watch her if they had to, to make sure he didnt violate the order.

The never do this in 98% of the cases, and 98% of those lead to someone getting killed. 

Now lets turn the tables:  Say this young lady gets real spooked one day, and blows his dayumm head off- the law will charge this gurl with 1st degree murder, saying it was premeditated while she was trippin off all the abuse…   She might get to try the battered syndrome, but thats a crap shoot.   Now she dead, and he killed himself.  No one has to pay for this mistake.    For the police being so lazy and stupid.  I hope there were no children…

This story is not new; this happens every day.  A woman is battered by her ’spouse’, and goes to the folks for help and gets nothing- except a decent burial and alot of sympathy too late, when the mofo done kilt’ her.    Alot of them fail to see how serious these issues are- shyt, they ‘prolly beatin they wives too…

I think when a person takes out a restraining order and the court deems it serious enuff to grant, that they also take it serious enuff to persue,  and make sure the person is stayin away from the claimant.   Maybe they can avoid things like this happening…

Poor gurl- its a terrible thing when someone really “loves you to death”!
